Thanks. It probably makes sense for us to do these after big events, which means the next one probably will be the beginning of June. Then we can have interviews from USA Basketball and the Nike Midwest Showdown and oodles to talk about.

How much what it take to have video clips of some of the games? Would that take up too much space?

Outstanding idea, sports fans; the possibilities with this type of thing are endless! One suggestion: the yapping should be in the the BACKGROUND, when you're playing James Brown, gettin' down...

Now that was great! Glenn and Chris you guys are really on to something with this. I would love to hear one of these after each major event. You might be able to grab a couple of the girls and interview them right after the games and tournaments then add the interviews in the podcast. Great work! This board is going to blow up very shortly. Thanks for taking girls basketball to the next level.

We are working on video too. Hopefully after the Midwest Showdown we'll have that ability.

I liked the podcast a lot. I gave me better insight into your evaluation process, and gave me names and relative evaluations that will help me in the the future when I see these young people play.

Best of all, it opened a window on your world, your perspective. I don't know if video would help or hinder your effort, because there is great power in words. But whatever you decide to do, I'll bet you think hard about it first.

I thought the first podcast was outstanding. It gives you a better prospective of the talent around the country that you normally would not hear to much about. I think that if a video of the interview, as well as the players in action was added, this would be that much better.

really really enjoyed the podcast. Very informative... covered alot of good information... and i can get my bball fix while sitting at my computer working ... :D

How often do you see yourselves doing these?... i would say i need a bball fix at least once a week :)

Thanks for the kind words. I'm working on the next podcast and hope to have it posted later today (Tuesday, May 22). It will have a great segment with Angie Bjorklund and Elena Delle Donne discussing shooting. Plus Delle Donne addresses her recruitment.
