Lewis and Clark High School basketball player Katelan Redmon has asked to be released from her scholarship agreement with the University of Washington now that the Huskies have fired coach June Daugherty.
Redmon, who led the Spokane school to the state Class 4A championship in 2006, applied for a release on Monday, said her father, Chuck Redmon.
Daugherty has since been hired at rival Washington State, and that has raised speculation that Redmon may go there.According to the News Tribune.
