I saw Riverside, ML, LC and Pasco play this summer. Riverside played a very good Exodus team and held their own. LC is quick and smart. ML is very big and the bigs are getting better with the addition of a true point guard. Pasco lost their top player in night, but have some pretty good freshman coming up with a lot of returnees.... YOU know Kentwood will be tough, but I have to give a step up to RS as the overall number 1.

You can't leave out Auburn Mountain View. Newport and Lindbergh didn't even make it to state. At state, they beat Bellevue by 12 and only lost to Issy by 3. I'm not saying the other teams do not deserve the ranking but Mountain View deserves some credit.

I think that Bellermine Prep is definitly gonna be a surprise team this year. I'm also calling a repeat for Auburn Riverside. One thing I don't agree with is Holy Names being up there. Didn't they loose almost their entire team?

From summer observations, whose returning this fall for certain teams and NEW (?) injury information especially in the 4A arena... Nonetheless... take these for what they are worth. Nothing. :D

Does anyone know if Moses Lake is a four-year high school? If so, they have Jordan Loera coming as a point guard and I'd say she'll be an impact player as a freshman. She has been out on the national club circuit, playing against the top players in the country and holding her own - for TWO years. She and the two Noyes sisters can do a lot of damage.

Moses Lake IS a 4 year and you are right, Jordan should have a big year with the two bigs. Her and my daughter Danielle (Pasco) have played together for years and Jordan has always been consistent and only seems to be getting better. So, I would have to make them the favorite in the Big Nine at least. Time will tell if Jordan can help get them out of regional’s. The Noyes sister have both improved as has Kelly Sutherland, who by the way played point last year. Kelly is a natural 2. So, she will be set to bomb away with Jordan penetrating and dishing.
