With Coach G formerly of Duke moving to Longhorn country, has that created a buzz for Texas area players?

Yes it has.

I'm curious what impact it has had on Baylor recruits. We have been considered in strong contention for Pope, Ogwumike, and also April Sykes (Miss.).

What do you think?

I think Baylor is in the running with the first two.

Is April still have Tennessee on her list?

Now that its been a while since Coach G has arrived, how is the recruiting landscape in the Lone Star State? Has there been significant change, or no real difference at all?

No real difference but there's some blue chips left that haven't committed.

The jury's still out!

The latest chat at Nike Nationals was Sykes to LSU but you know how things can change daily....I have a lot of respect for all athletics in the state of Texas...the girls from Texas are fun to watch.

Who are the bluechippers that are left uncommitted in the state? and what are their top 2 choices?

Nneka Ogwumike (6), Brooklyn Pope (9), Destini Hughes (17), Briana Gilbreath (28) & Adaora Elonu (34). These rankings are according to Hoopgurlz latest update on the class of 2008. I don't want to speculate as to their top two schools of choice but by RUMOR only I would guess that NO's top two are Baylor & Duke. BP's would be Baylor but haven't heard of another. DH, I have no idea. BG's would be USC only because her sister is there. AE's, I have no idea.

I won't comment because some PUNK on the UT board is spreading even more lies about me. Again, wherever the kids choose to go, I wish them well.

Is it true to say that someone out there doesn't like you?

I thought she would have been decided by now, what is the deal with that, is it a secret, or has she lost some luster?

It's always going to be people who don't like someone, especially someone who goes against the grain. :D

I would assume that her decision will not be made until the home visits are complete.

Its Hoopslover from the DMV, just checking in on Coach G at Texas. How is it looking out there for in the upcoming season?

Maybe the bad stories are of recruits/players from Conrads' regime. Coach G is going another direction which might hurt some feelings.

Coach G presents herself one way to the public but can be pretty intimidating and not good for women's college basketball..Be careful if you're a recruit...Been told several bad stories...

I have met Coach G, before and was able to sit and talk some hoops to her, and I don't think she conducts herself any different from what you see her in the public eye. Now this is just my opinion.

Looks like Coach G impressed one of the best in the country.

I know several that has played with her, and worked with her, and nothing but good things to say about her, but this is just my opinion.
