Well I have to say that I was a little disappointed with the course of action that Scout.com made when Glenn(which had made it clear over the months he was not keeping hoopgurlz on scout) officially left. I believe it was with high hopes Glenn(editor of Scout until last week when he resigned) was in continuing a working relationship with scout.com, especially with Clay at fullcourt.com

Needless to say Glenn and Chris were immediately banned from Scout.com and all posters even so much as linking Hoopgurlz.com new location, even in reference to an article had their username banned on that particular board as well.

With all that being said I am sure that time will heal all wounds, but, until then if you have fellow posters that dont know what is going on it might be best not to post a new thread on any Scout.com sites. Send your fellow posters a message letting them know if you would like.

Anyway...enjoying the new board Glenn/Chris you have certainly gone all out for the promotion of Girls Basketball. I feel like I just got a new cell phone and I am learning all the new improved features...

I know I am banned from accessing the old site's message boards and it now has premium content from some college sites on it mixed with our old free stories. I can get onto most of the communities like The Devils Den, The SummiTT and the Boneyard but the premium boards like The Bootleg are no longer accessible. If you are a member of one of the premium sites, we haven't run out on you, we just can't get on to keep in touch right now.

We have no beef with the Scout network but to assure we could continue to provide a home for girls hoops we had to go independent. Glenn and I built this site and have done our best to promote the sport. Just don't expect us to respond on the old board as we no longer have access to it. Our emails are posted on this site so feel free to email us or drop in on the new board.

The usual suspects, First2No, Intelligent Hoodlum, Ifyousayso, Hoopsking and many others are already firing up the banter!

Thank you to the nearly 300 new users who have registered a user name already.
