All-America candidate Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton, a 6-foot-2 senior-to-be forward on the Purdue women's basketball team, has torn the anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee. She is scheduled to undergo ACL surgery in August, but the exact date has not been set. It is typically a four-to-six month recovery period following surgery.
"It's a tough situation, but a situation that we have been put in before," head coach Sharon Versyp said. "Lindsay has been extremely impressive to me with her attitude and her positive outlook. We talked a lot while she was in Russia and a lot last week and we have a great plan put into place."reports CSTV.com
