Since this is the viewing period it is a good time to discuss.

How do you feel about 7th grade girls traveling for exposure during the viewing period?

Girls are being recruited heavily by travel teams to do this in NYC.

As a father of an entering 7th grade girl, a tournament is a tournament. I'm not so much worried about her getting exposure to scouts as I am about her improving her game each time out and continuing to love to play the game. If she's good enough to make the next level, then she'll get noticed at some point in her career. Early isn't always better.
