As of July 7, 2010, the PAC 10 found itself as the surprising runaway leader in early commits from the 2011 Top 100 prospects, with UCLA at #2, USC tied at #3, Stanford at #5, and Arizona State tied at #9:

It is a great start for the west coast and very much needed as those outside of Pac-10 country think it is a one team conference.

The only trouble with is that college coaches feel this class is shallow and thus not using every available scholarship as 2012 has set itself up to be a deep class, or at least that is the perception as of right now. However, the class may not be deep nationally but California and Washington have a relatively deep class and because of that I expect to see more Pac-10 teams with top 30 recruiting classes than normal.
