The Tennessee Flight Silver team won the 2007 Battle of the Boro. They went undefeated in the tournament and played the Fairfax Stars in the Championship game. The Flight Silver team finished with 73 and the Fairfax Stars finished with 51 in the title game.
MVP was Candace Wood, leading all scorers with 24pts. Krista Gross (out of North Carolina) and Natalie Novosel (out of Kentucky) made the All-tournament team from the Flight Silver squad.

Insell's squad wins third tourney in six weeks


After taking home the championship at the End of the Trail Tournament in Oregon less than two weeks ago, the Tennessee Flight Silver squad returned to more familiar territory to run through the Nike Battle in the Boro.
The Silver ran roughshod through the field, capping off their week with a 73-51 win over the Fairfax Stars Monday afternoon at Blackman Middle School.

North Carolina commit Candace Wood led all scorers in the game with 24 points to propel the Flight.
Shanel Harrison led Fairfax with 14 points.
