Some excellent results for Washington-based teams in events throughout the land during the April 16-18 "viewing" period:

• In a large “evaluation window” event here in the area, Way to Win Gold won the Spring MSNM tournament at Juanita. WTW ran its record to 8-1. Don't have any specifics on the MSNM games, but Blaire Brady (Issy), Hailey Gullstad (Mercer), Kendra Morrison (Eastlake) and Kristen Stoffel (Jackson) are some of the more recognizable players.
• In the Tournament of Champions Live LA National Division in Santa Ana, CA, Seattle Lady Style won. Cheyenne Wilson (Cleveland) averaged 15 ppg for Style while Sasha Weber (Timberline) led in the championship game with 16. Whitney Wilson (Cleveland) and Alli Madison (Kennedy) also had some big games throughout the weekend. Style is 14-3 with all its losses to Y.E.A. In the Fila Division, Baden Elite took second. Elite has, among others, Talia Walton (Federal Way), Shaunice Robinson (Garfield), Cora McManus (Garfield) and Nyzhe Primas (Bellarmine).
• In the Arizona Elite Spring Classic in Tempe, Spokane Stars won to stay unbeaten at 15-0. Shelby Cheslak (Pullman star, committed to Gonzaga already), led Stars with 19 against the host team in the championship game while Jordan Loera (Moses Lake) had a nice all--around game. Kylie Huerta (Kentwood) is another familiar player on the Stars.
• In the Deep South Classic in the Research Triangle of North Carolina, Tree of Hope finished second in the top bracket. No details on this one, but Tree of Hope has a ton of Washington standouts and a couple of solid Alaska kids. Here's a link to their roster:

Spokane Stars and Baden Elite have not updated their web sites recently, but here are links to Style and Way to Win:
