More info please!! What type of player is she? Congrats Chelsea! You're coming into a great situation as you will see alot of playing time at center. I wonder where this puts us with Boothe, we could use BOTH of them.

She's an athletic post with very good fundamentals around the glass. She was also a great defender in high school.

Shekinna Stricklen is definitely the best player in the state, but Jones along with Julie Inman and Kelsey Hatcher are all vying for the 2nd spot.

Headed into the summer, my rankings were:
1. Stricklen (committed to Tennessee)
2. Jones (committed to Purdue)
3. Inman (committed to Arkansas)
4. Hatcher (who has reportedly committed to Oklahoma State)

Hatcher is having a phenomenal summer. It will be interesting to see how she does without Zachariason, though.

I saw the Arkansas Belles play at the Showtime Nationals. Does Inman play for that team? I thought Hatcher was by far their best player.

Hatcher, Inman, and Jones all play for the Arkansas Belles.

BTW, Hatcher is an excellent all-around athlete. She's won 8 state championships and been named all-state in four sports: basketball (2), soccer (2), track and field (3), cross country (1). She's an excellent soccer play.

I think if you watched them over the past three years (Summer and High School), you could make an argument for any of them. It's unfortunate for them that Stricklen is in the same class because she will sweep the POY awards.
