On today's front page you will find a story by the newest addition to our staff, Lindsay Schnell. A graduate of Oregon State, Lindsay was the sports editor at the Daily Barometer, an intern at Sports Illustrated, and has been a regular contributor to The Oregonian. She has written for several other publications, including CSTV.com, and has won several awards for her writing, including the prestigious NCAA Freedom-Forum Sports Writing Scholarship. Lindsay also has played and coached high school and, time permitting, always is up for a free-throw shooting contest.
