On another note...How's A. Spriggs doing? I was new to the scene when she was a rising jr, but I just thought she would have been a bigger noie maker at the next level. I was taken aback by her school selection. Was I blinded by the hype, or did she end up where she is because of being overshadowed?

Remember a scholly is a scholly. Besides UNCC is a very good school in the same state system as the Pack. The objective was to secure a education that is paid for which she achieved. Now could she have gone ACC, CAA, or Big East maybe, but it matters not...:cool:

Wow...as someone who knows the objective, period, & posts regularly on it, I don't think you of all folks should've twisted my post & make it personal!
I asked a honest question of something I did not know & stated what impact something had on me. At that time, as I stated, I was new to the scene & from the buzz, would have thought she would have gone to one of the powerhouses(that State or UNC-C aren't).
I have 12 more "kids" to help obtain their goal of getting a scholly and all of them will not go to th ACC, Big East, etc., but it matters not...

Do you have any info on how she's doing in her studies or on the court?

Ashley could play at a place like G-Town or GMU (plays just a tough as Moni from Laurel) but not a Maryland when coming out of Bishop Mcnamera. Ashley had great stregth in high school and overpowered many of her opponents. She isn't a "3" because she has no range from 3pt line (she only shot 1 last year) and her handle at best is average and she is a 5'11 Power forward which usually goes overlook in the Big East or ACC level. But Ashley can play and I wish her the best at uncc.
