What about Ka'lia Johnson from Thomas Dale? Some people seem to have a problem being patient. And letting the IH does what he does in peace, before they start whining and moaning!

Ken, no matter how she's ranked by various sources, your daughter has the only two accolades that really matter--- a full ride to one of the premier programs in the country and the chance to lead her team to a state championship, so don't sweat the rest. She's a great player and I suspect she'll get lots of recognition at the national level over the next year. Good luck to her.

Bones not on the 1st team? What does she have to do?? She can't help who she is playing against she just goes out and kills every game.
Also Taylor Brown would be a good choice for 2nd team but its just my opinion.

the girl deserved all she's gotten; she's the one who's on the court hoopin'...
and then some... she put on a show against Cosby scoring 34 points... best one-on-one player I have seen all year... also, she is best when running the point... she sees the floor and knows when its time to take over... almost... In the Cosby game, she waited a little too long before putting the team on her back... but, ... still an amazing performance...

Did I miss Lauren Burford somewhere on these lists?
Its hard to believe she wouldn't be on one of these teams. I think I counted maybe two players from the 30 pubs in the northern Region of VA...but that figures on this website.

IH Tate is right this list is ahhhh WHACK!
So you're saying there are close to 50 girls in this immediate area who have had better seasons than all but ONE girl from P.G. NOT POSSIBLE IH and you know it.....

You PG County people whine and moan entirely too much. The IH challenges any of you pilgrims to come forward wih five PG girls who put up real numbers this season on a niightly basis outside of Janay Borum...

It's extremely difficult to get rank-and-file pilgrims who came over on the Mayflower to understand that the DMV is much bigger than Northern Virginia and PG County Publics...

Definitely some talent listed, but not one of these girls put up real numbers on a nightly basis on or near Borum level; to be on an All-Region team...

Well I see to make the all regional team you must be just a scorer and not a all around ball player, or how imporant you are to your team. Scoring is great but what about the rebs, assist, blks, and FT, this should be added in also. Someone avg 8.3 points, 8.8 rebs, 6.6 assist, 2.2 blks, and is shoting 81% from the line those are very good numbers. But if someone avg 27 points a game and nothing else that is good enough to be on the all regional team.

Its just one man's opinion, he's entitled to it, and I respect the IH for what he does for lots of young players.
However, players either fit into his world or they don't. That world reminds me of when I was a little kid and I would look up at the moon at night and think it was made of swiss cheese.
His mind is made up. Don't confuse him with facts.

You're defeating your own argument, slim, because 80-90% of the girls listed for the All-Region teams are putting up monster numbers across the stat line AND are leading their team to real wins.
Again, give your man the IH five names of PG County girls who put up the numbers on a nightly basis this season; and while you're at it name someone on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th All-Region Team who didn't put up these types of numbers.

Actually, homeskipper, the Real Basketball Report IS NOT the IH's sole opinion; the RBR is a compilation of opinions of area and regional scouts, pundits, high-school coaches, and club coaches' opinions, and evaluations--in the interest of maintaining and promoting non-partisanship.
And YOU should know sports fan, the only true arbiter to the IH is PERFORMANCE and RESULTS! The IH's mind is only made up after you show him performance and results.
Please give the IH some real facts, kind sir, about five NoVa girls who should be listed on one of the RBR's All-Region Team that aren't. Every time the IH asks and begs for you discriminating sports fans opinions all the IH gets is a bunch of whining, moaning, posing, and gassing up from you NoVa school and club people. But nothing to do with facts, performance, and results.

There is most definitely lots of gas on here. It seems to me the argument is about who's passing the most. Thankfully, the girls just go out there, pinch their noses against the smell the adults put out, and play.:D
