Team Select (BMac) made it to the final four in their bracket by winning it's first 3 games and losing the fourth.
MD Extreme won it's first and lost the 2nd and 3rd games.
I know the Wisconsin Select was the team that beat Extreme in their second game, and Select in it's fourth.

No AsianCoach,
There are of course some Roosevelt players.
Brittyan Crowell Gwynn Park
Raven ? Theodore Roosevelt
Princess Dublin Potomac
Chechi ? Bladensburg
Kiera ? Bladensburg
I think Mustaf's daughter is also playing with them (Bowie)
I heard that Lacy Hall was named MVP of the under sixteen all-american camp. IH this is your cue to post your quote.
That's all I know!:cool:

Team Excel (Hairston's team) is now 2-2. They won 2 by double figures and lost the 2 by combined 8 points. Games they should have won! Several of the girls are showing very well which is good because there are a load of coaches at every game filling the coaches seats.

Well Showtime is over and the word on the street is Team Excel's elite bracket team played and represented. I was told that they won three and lost two. Brooke Wilson and Brittany Crowell were selected to the All-American Camp. :cool:

The IH wants to offer congrats to the baby ballers, three the hard way, who showed off at the adidas Top-Ten All-American 7th/8th/9th Grade Camp, and made the 18-girl All-Star Team:
1. Terah Mustaf, 5'10", 2010, Bowie/Bowie, Md., Team Excel;
2. Tyaunna Marshall, 5'10", 2010, Bishop McNamara/Forestville, Md., D.C. Team Select;
3. Cierra Burdick, 6'1", 2011, South Mecklenburg/Charlotte, N.C., Team Unique.

1. The IH was told that Tyaunna was at the B-Mac. Can anyone educate the IH on what the deal is?
2. Brittany Crowell showed her usual aggressiveness and assertiveness on both sides of the ball; the IH saw a more refined mentality out of her than in the past, which obviously resulted in a more efficient game...
3. The IH was impressed, of course, by Elashier Hall's play. She has, quite simply, one of the best mid-range strokes of any girl in our region that the IH has seen. A nice man-to-man defensive game, and a real nose for the ball at both ends. It might be about that time for her to make definite moves on the court to get up in that RBR 2009-class top five...

Lucy definately turned the heads of the college coaches and her opponets. She showed that beautiful jumper from 3 range as well as mid-range. Jocely Bailey played very well displaying an array moves to the bucket and the ability to shoot the J! Britt Wilson stock contiues to sore based on her consistant performance. How could I forget Britt Crowell shooter extrodinare!! Young Mustaf showed she is quite a player and will be a force for years to come! The rankings in the RBR should be changing. Nyree Williams showed she will be a force and their will be a line to get her to sign a NLI.

I talked to a couple of people this evening that were in the ATL and they said TE looked good and competed well. They played hard and represented the region well. They said Brittany Crowell was a big time gun slinger. She was hitting from everywhere going to the basket, mid range, and particularly outside with 3's from deep all weekend. Apparently she really had the coaches talking. Anyone know when/where they play next?

It's good to hear this young lady's name mentioned. Truly one of many underclassman in our area that is flying under the radar. She has been transitioning from playing with her back to the basket to facing the basket for the last couple of years. I believe she finally got an opportunity to face the basket when she played up a couple of years ago with BallSkills and she has hit the ground running. Congrats Tyaunna, keep up the hard work.
The IH must have been told around this time last year that she would be attending B-Mac because she's going into her second year at E. Seton. My understanding is that her and her family were interested in BMac but was recruited to Seton by the assistant coach who is now at BMac. :confused: Yeah I scratched my head too!
