I posted earlier this month that Katrina Wheeler (DC-Rosevelt, Georgetown) would be transfering to Towson to reunite with her former high school PG Shanae Baker-Brice but some people on the board confirmed and said she would be attending GW instead.
Talked to Katrina at basketball camp recently and she confirmed to me that she will be going to Towson.
So I will make a prediction. Katrina Wheeler will be a 2 time 1st Team All-Conference Post Player in the CAA.
With Baker-Brice and Wheeler both being Juniors in 2008-2009 season Towson should have the best inside and out combo in the conference. Baker-Brice as a freshman averaged about 14ppg with 4rb and 4aspg and should lead Towson next year also.
Good Job to Towson coaches on the 2 Roosevelt Girls. And dont be suprised once Brittany Hilliard (yes im bring her name back up) does her 2 years at Monroe JC or CC (which 1 by the way? The 1 in the city or the 1 in Rochester?) that Towson will have 3 Rough Riders (Roosevelt HS) players in there starting lineup for the 2009-2010 season.
