Lynette Kiser and Chay Shegogg seem to be the 2 premier posts in the region. What are the strengths and areas for improvement in each of these players. What type of impact do you think these ladies will have at the next level. Looks like they will see a lot of each other in the future.

Sorry I spelled Miss Kiser's and Miss Shegog's names wrong.

I would think both would do well on the next level, I would think Kizer would benefit by gaining more quickness, and Shegog more strength, but I feel the without any improvement both are D-1 ready now.

I agree, Kizer is quick now for a player her size, that is an area I'm sure she will improve in as well as Shegog getting stronger.
No doubt, both of them have the opportunity to make an immediate impact at Maryland and UNC.

Kizer has more tools in her tool box. I have only seen her twice but she has some skills and is not just a post player. So my take is both will play but Kizer should be a potential All-American before she leaves school and Sheggog will probably be another Candace Sutton for UNC. Which is not intended as an insult Candace did her job while in Chapel Hill.
Just my opinion...

I agree Kizer is not your average Post Player, she has some serious skills. I've watched Shegog at a few tournaments this summer and she has definately stepped up her game and increased her strength. Looking forward to seeing both of them play at the next level.
