I found this posting rather disturbing on a number of levels. I must say, however, that a few years ago, I would have felt the same way. First, Tia Jackson is a human being, not an air filter to be changed as soon as performance lags. Having studied under one of America's great acting teachers, she told me to strive for the best performance possible, but remember that it takes about seven years to get good at anything. This is Tia's first head coaching job and she has made mistakes. However, as I watch her, she is learning and getting better. She's very smart and will keep getting better. Do you really want to start the process all over again? Basketball is a game I love dearly and, as my values continue to change and evolve, I go to the games now to enjoy the game and honor the hard work of these amazing young women. Be patient!

it is important to do so. If the school choses to move on w/out coach so be it.
