With WELL's addition, Duke will have 5 PGs - all in the Top 70 of their respective batches -
for the 2010-2011 season:

Jasmine THOMAS / 5'9 - ranked #8 overall & #2 PG from the Class of 2007
Shay SELBY / 5'9 - ranked #13 overall & #1 PG from the Class of 2008
Chelsea HOPKINS / 5'6 - ranked #61 overall from the Class of 2008
Chelsea GRAY / 5'11 - ranked #4 overall & #1 PG from the Class of 2010
Chloe WELLS / 5'7 - ranked #62 overall from the Class of 2010

I guess Duke is planning to play as many as 3 PGs simultaneously next season.
That's simply amazing, the envy of hundreds of programs who don't even have
a single Top 100 PG!

They do have alot of guards, but you can never have enough. except when you play a small lineup..

I look at it this way: Chloe Wells gets two years to prep for a starting position -- important for a point guard. She and Chelsea Gray can play together. Gray has size and is more of a scorer.

Seems like Wells had a better situation at Cal as opposed to Duke...2 years to prep? Immediate impact on stacked Cal team. Curious. 5 PGs and doesn't Duke have a '11 PG commit as well?

I guess you can never have enough point guards, can you???? UNC has 3 in their rotation.

Ideally, you should have two point guards, and a shooting guard and a wing on the roster who really can play the position in an emergency.
