How are the NY travel teams doing this summer so far and what players are standing, Saints I heard you team did pretty good at Showtimes 15 and under. Anybody know updates on New Heights at USJN or Exodus teams at Nike Roundball or NY Elite at Penn State, Liberty Belles, and the Gauchos I know they have strong 16 and under and 14 and under team.

Beat Boo Williams Elite at Nike Summer Slam (NJ)

been following the AAU much this season. Only have seen a few tournys. But Slater's team is the best AAU team, nobody ever heard of. They are not the most talented team by any means. But they are one of the best coached teams on the circuit. And they won't be outworked. They lost a close game to Philadelphia Belles (Lynch) in the finals of USJN 15's last year. Last week they were runnerup at Penn State. This week they took Boo Williams at Summer Slam. Exodus and Silver Bullet Elite 15. Get most of the press and accoliades out of NY. But Lightning Slater is the best team in NY.

It sounds like Lightning (Slater) is a 16 U team. Are there any player names you can mention from the team ?

pleasure. Not much going on with the other board. I didn't get to do my yearly rant. I was bumming!!!!!!!! Yes. Slater is a 16 yr old team. The center is a Junior (McKenna) playing up. It seems that she will be playing next year with Lightning Lipani 15. Who has a pretty good team. You are probably familiar with them. As for Slater, not that familiar with all the names. Best players seem to be Michelle Kurowski(Hicksville) and Janine Aldridge?(Massapequa). Aldridge is going to some D1 school. Not sure of which one. It looks like they have 2 or 3 D1 players. From what i'm told they had another D1 player (Cavallo) who blew her ACL out during the HS season. Extremely fundamentally sound team. Well coached. Kids play within themselves. They run some killer sets. This allows them to play with the more talented teams. Who aren't as well coached.

Atlanta 15 U Showtime: 50 teams overall

Brooklyn Saints - 11th Place

Atlanta 16 U Showtime:

All Exodus teams did well over 90 teams overall in 16 U division

Exodus Mass 1st Place
Exodus Black - 26th Place
Exodus Gold - 21st Place (team has mostly incoming freshmen)
Exodus Brooklyn - 28th Place
Exodus White - 24th Place
Exodus Red - 22nd Place

New Heights - 5th Place

Exodus NYC - 3rd place - Oregon End of Trail Tournament

Liberty Belles, NYC Heat, Silver Bullets in Chicago for Nike tournament this weekend.
