I was there to watch the last 3 of these 4 division championship games, and they were all very close.
Exodus NYC seemed to be very lethargic coming out of the gates , including Sammy P, against a very tough Tulsa Swoosh team, and really relied on a makeable missed lay-up by GOODRICH at the buzzer to hang on to a 1-point victory.

Goodrich's high school team, Sequoyah of Tahlequah, OK, has won three straight state championships and took on all comers in the state this year. They were the state's best team and nationally ranked. They haven't lost in 1-1/2 years, and Goodrich has been state tournament MVP each year since her freshman year.
Believe me, missing a layup under pressure with the game on the line is a rare event for Goodrich. Sequoyah returns all five starters and eight seniors next year, and are overwhelming favorites to sweep the table and win the title again in 2008, as is Goodrich a huge favorite to win a fourth straight MVP, becoming the first player in Oklahoma history - boys or girls in any classification - to win four mvp awards.
BTW, that very special team took out the 5A state champions featuring Alyssia Brewer, and I think two more state champions as well. They've been invited to and have accepted the opportunity to play in the Nike TOC in December. Look for them to do very well.
Goodrich had quadruple doubles in the first two games of her high school career. She's listed at 5-3, but a lot of people think she's no taller than 5-2.

When I was watching the game where the Tulsa Swoosh upset the much-taller and star-studded West Coast Elite Black at the EOT tournament yesterday, I was really impressed with the performance of Angellisa GOODRICH at the point and Liz LAY at the post for Tulsa. And GOODRICH really held her own against Sammy P in her teams' division championship match versus Exodus NYC.
Angelissa reminds me a lot of Renee MONTGOMERY (UCONN's starting PG) with the way she moves and plays. She is not currently in the top 2008 prospects list of hoopgurlz.com, but she should probably be at least a 4-star prospect.

Not on this board, but I've said the same thing on multiple occasions on OU-oriented message boards. It's the lack of height combined with the intangibles that make her such an intriguing and enigmic prospect.
