Great Job by all the local teams!
CONGRATULATIONS DC COBRAS/HDW for being amongst all the Elite Nike Teams & making it to the Elite Eight before falling to Georgia Metros by 12 in the Showcase Bracket.
FFS is playing in the Final four, hopefully they'll advance so this region can have some representation in the Championship game. Job well done Cobras, you didn't win but to quote a college coach, You played on Sunday!!:)
Also Congrats to Lady Magic 14s & 15s & Team Select for a job well done!!

UTurn Warriors 14's took out the Lady Majic twice this weekend. I believe they beat the LM's once before.

Yes 4street.......you heard correctly. U-turn beat them by 15 the second time. And they did beat them once before in a tournament in Richmond.

In 14U, Essence faced off against the FFS in the other semifinal game, and FFS lost by about the same amount (3 or 4?)as UTurn did in their Essence matchup (if what the board says about the Uturn essence game is gospel). So LM, FFS, U Turn and Essence in final four, and three Md/VA/DC teams in that group. Way to represent the region!

15's.........How did they do. I havent seen or heard of them playing for a while. Any summary report? Game by game report? Individuals who turned it out this weekend?

14's.........Same questions

Hey my fault I really don't follow the AAU circuit, my team is a HS team from DC & I just happen to know Majic & Stars players & coaches. I don't really know the others.
I did get a chance to see U-Turn & Ms. Pitt & she is the truth! I saw overtime & I don't believe she touched the ball down the stretch, what a shame. But Kudos to all girls for putting on a 60 pt a pc performance with head coaches & all lined up on the sideline with their little pens & booklets, steadily jotting!
Balling you don't strike me as a Majic fan, but AAR, LM 15 was there as well & performing nicely as usual. I believe they may have lost Sat. night but they still played Sunday. Tionna Hawkins & Rahneeka Saunders were showing off & raising their stock. Simone looked good & Q I think Kahlilah, is an all around baller!! Did you read the other posts...the 14 report is there.

Actually, the Lady Majic 15s lost to the Lady Razorbacks, Saturday night. They did play on Sunday but not in any of the brackets. And to give players their due, BOTH Hawkins girls and Rahneeka Saunders played very well. Kristine Mial, Phyllis Martin, and Jackie Williams all had really good games for the Razorbacks.

I hope nobody's getting the impresson I'm not giving any player her due.
I comment on what I know & see, I'm not a scout, or reporter. I watched the games as a fan & commented on what jumped out at me. Didn't know who LM lost to because I didn't see that game, & I would assume it didn't count if there was no losers bracket.
thanks for your input...

Sorry teammom. But I wasn't trying to say you weren't giving players their due. I just wanted to add my two cents since I did see the game. I love watching LM and just wanted to make sure both twins got recognized for playing so well.
