Maya Moore which just finished up Summer School at UConn is headed to Hollywood as a finalist for the top female high school athlete in the nation. Maya will attend a luncheon on July 11th where announcements will be made for Male and Female athletes. That evening she will walk the red carpet for the ESPY Awards...the next day she will be back on the East Coast in Washington DC to report for training camp for the USA Nationals 19U Team Finalists. where the 16 Finalists for the USA Basketball U19 Team will train and the Final Roster of 12 Players will be selected. The USA U19 Team will then leave for Spain to play Exhibition Games, before going on the Bratislava, Slovakia, for the FIBA U19 Women's World Championships July 26 - August 5, 2007.
Whew...I am tired just thinking about it.
Knowing Maya's schedule from last fall until now, I really cant tell you how this player is to be admired.
