I notice a;most a total lack of Michigan girls BBall players on your top 50 list . Where are they? I saw the state championships last fall and there were quite a few going div. one. I also saw the Indiana girls championships and their players appeared to me to be a class lower. I was not impressed. For instance Skylar Diggens , who is rated at the top of the 09 class, playing in their class C ,showed little against a very weak team that couldn't get to our semi's. She hit a 3 pointer or two, but scored most of her points on easy jumpers inside the foul line. On the other hand Jenny Ryan of state champ Saginaw Nouvill, looked like she could play for UConn right now. At 5'11, she scored at will from inside and out and took it to the basket against players 3-5 inches taller. She is very fast in the open court and can handle any press because of her speed.
Our boys talent is highly regarded all over the nation every year. The Detroit city league and the suberbs produce a slew of All- Americans. Where are the girls?
