Alright, regional sports fans; the IH is looking for the region's top forty 2011-class girls, for the RBR's Fall Book.
By the way, unless someone convinces the RBR otherwise, the top three 2011-class girls, in ranking order, are:

1. Elizabeth Williams, 6-3, Princess Anne/Virginia Beach, Virginia;
2. Ka'lia Johnson, 5-11, Thomas Dale/Chester, Virginia (Duke commit);
3. Brene Moseley, 5-9, Paint Branch/Burtonsville, Maryland.

The Real Basketball Report needs thirty-seven more girls to pay attention to, before this upcoming school season. Can you sports fans suggest some girls to be paid attention to, please?

The RBR wants to pay attention to these 2011-class girls (in alphabetical order):

- Achiri Ade, 5-11, Seton Keough/Baltimore, Maryland;
- Simone Antwi, 6-1, South County/Lorton, Virginia;
- Akilah Bethel, 5-10, Academy of the Holy Cross/Kensington, Maryland;
- Taylor Brown, 5-6, Bishop McNamara/Forestville, Maryland;
- Lauren Chase, 5-4, Riverdale Baptist/Upper Marlboro, Maryland;
- Talequia Hamilton, 6-1, Huntington/Huntington, West Virginia;
- Ashley Lambert, 5-10, Riverbend/Fredericksburg, Virginia;
- Meredith Mesaris, 6-1, Paul VI/Fairfax, Virginia;
- Tiffany Minor, 5-11, The Maret School/Washington, D.C.;
- Maggie Morrison, 5-6, Archbishop Spalding/Severn, Maryland;
- Destiny Shearin, 5-11, Osborne Park/Woodbridge, Virginia;
- Amber Singletary, 5-8, Seton Keough/Baltimore, Maryland;
- Markell Smith, 6-1, Norfolk Collegiate/Norfolk, Virginia;
- Linda Stepney, 5-6, Lake Taylor/Norfolk, Virginia;
- Keanna Tate, 6-0, Calvin Coolidge/Washington, D.C.;
- Tyonna Williams, 5-7, Riverdale Baptist/Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

An interesting cross-section, to be sure, sports fans.

Can you fellow girls hoops gurus name 20-25 more 2011-class girls in our region that the RBR needs to be looking at right now?

Did she move out the city? I thought her father was the coach for collidge? Is he still the coach?

Some nice names to work with, involved sports fans. The IH needs to hear about some more girls from:

Richmond;
Tidewater;
Roanoke;
West Virginia.

By the way, what's the spark plug of a PG's name over at S-J-C, who's a 2011? Her name escapes the IH...

IH,

Are you referring to Mariah Jones, who clubs it with D.C. Heat's 15U crew?

I'm surprised that there hasn't been more traffic on this thread. There are a lot of good players in this age group. Either everyone that reads/posts here is on vacation or being too polite in not throwing names out there. Neither apply to me.

GC Crew
Kim Tullis (mentioned above)
Boo Abshire
Sydney Lewis
Bianca Hood
Jessica Hentrel
Lauren Ballenger (very scrappy)
(can the defending WCAC Champs get some credit?)

SJC/DC Heat
Lindsey Williams
Mariah Jones (mentioned above)

St. Andrews
Claire Devaney - (under the radar)

Sparks
Amanda Witmer
K. Porter (I can't recall her first name)
Haley Gibbert

Wootten Bookends
Jessica Welch
Gabby Flinchum

Blake Bengals
Nikki Ostrow (another sleeper)
Heather Davis (?) I think that's the correct last name for her

Not to mention the Western Fairfax girls. My point is that there are a lot of girls that have talent enough to play at the next level. I'm sure there are several that I've missed. They all deserve a mention or two here. If the point is to get these girls exposed so they can "get that money", maybe it's time we broaden their options.

Two questions that should always be asked about players with big numbers. Who have they played and what have they won? If the answers are nobody and nothing then that choice is suspect.

then you forgot Kara Marshall, Gaithersburg...I'd rate her higher than most of your additions.

Tell me more about this kid. Who does she play like? Does she have Major college game or small D1 game?

Mariah is a 5'10" junior shooting guard who may play the point in college. She is getting alot of Division I attention and it is well deserved. Most of the schools are mid major schools and above. As of now Tennesee and UCONN are not flooding her with letters but I know she can play at the highest level.

Byard can shoot the three consistently, handle the ball, excellent rebounder, passes the ball as well as any girl I have seen and has a demanding desire to win.
