This tournament starts on Thursday. Just curious, how does this tournament compare to the big name tournaments going on this month? The teams participating are availabe at http://www.aauresults.org/girlsb/pdfnat/1182616878.pdf
I'm from Philly so I know about the teams from the Middle Atlantic region. I also see that BWSL is playing. Is that their main team? I would like to know who are the serious contenders.

Arkansas Mavericks, usually a Sweet 16 finisher in AAU Nationals, top player is Tennessee commit Shekinna Stricklen.

Illinois Hustle has historically been strong.

Orlando Comets are a perennial AAU powerhouse.

Georgia Elite has some D-1 kids, including Clemson committ Lindsay Mason.

I believe Brittany Rayburn plays for Indiana's Finest.

Philly Belles are solid with Caroline Doty as their best player and several other legit players.

Dayton Hoopstars should be back at full force.

Tennessee Team Pride has Glory Johnson and the Tennessee Flight Navy has a strong squad that really plays well together.

Texas Express has a good team and Boo Williams is one of the best teams in the country.

After looking at the single elimination brackets, here is my semi final prediction....the bracket with Dayton, Philly Belles, and Boo is loaded.....

Boo Williams vs. Orlando Comets
Texas Express vs. Philly Comets
