5'11" Mo Bennett a versatile guard out of Statesboro, GA and considered by many as one of the top 2008 players in Georgia rescinded her early committment to play for South Carolina and from what I understand has chosen GA Tech where she will join two other premier GA recruits - 6'4" Nia Adams and 5'6" Metra Walthour.

Mo Bennett plays on Peachstate Elite Team Black /Brandon Clay.

I was also pleasantly surprised to see that 2008 Porsha Porter(formerly from NY) but now the Dirty South's clone of Lorin Dixon - except Porsha(a little taller) will drill a three all day if you let her or fierelessly take it to the hole with some magic is now with Peachstate Elite Orange. I hope some get a look at this player she is one of the key reasons her high school team Mill Creek H.S. will be considered one of the top few in the State this year.

You are correct I got a call from SC asst and wanted to know if Parrish Simmons had commited as they wanted to get back in on her recuitment. Look for this girl as she is being recuited by Louisville,South Florida Ala. Auburn Michigan State and Clemson to name the main ones. She is the same type player as Britty Carter Very athletic and is a very good defender.

South Carolina I would hope is looking into some Post Players since their only legitimate Post is a senior this coming year...It might be hard for them to recruit any more guards anytime soon as they have around 9 on the roster right now.
