As a parent, I've watched girls moved from team to team over the years both during AAU season and high school. What MESSAGE does this send to perspective college coaches if any?

To most IMO. A '07 Top 20 if not 10 recruit team-hopped on the summer scene as long as she was on it. If I'm not mistaken I believe she was a transfer into the HS she graduated from BUT I'm not sure about that. AAR, I don't think it means much to them, they understand the scene & that it will more of a commitment when it comes their time to sign...JMO

This has been going on for years. That's one of the reasons the WCAC put in the no transfer rule. I guess they got tired of us PS people complaining about their ethics..

I would have to agree with the WCAC.

If a kid needs to get out of their current situation, cool. Shop around & see what fits. They need to do their homework & have realistic expectations or else they may find themselves, team-hopping. I think it's good to get as much bump as possible. BUT, The point is to get better not just exposed, because we all know what that can mean.
Teams are supposed to be about more than just winning & ball & when a kid team-hops they can find themselves on the outside of a lot of loops, especially if they come to the team for more selfish reasons, or underhanded.
My daughter plays on two teams in the summer. One is her age group & is like a sisterhood & she plays almost every minute. The other is an older team that she works out with & plays sometimes, but often rides the bench...still like a sisterhood though. She needs to be exposed to all facets of the game. it is not a given that she will be the best thing on her hs team when she gets to that level so why not experience some of those things now & take the in.
BUT to me HS & Summer ball are different, yet to the coaches, again I don't think it matters.
