What are the B Mac Summer League standings as the playoffs are approaching on Sun.? Do all teams make it or is it based on the top X teams?

Semi-finals: Monday 6:00pm and 7:15pm
Championship Game :Tuesday 6:30pm

For those of you who may have seen/see me in the gym or know my affiliation don't think I'm crazy! I know I should know this stuff, but my brain's on overload so I have to pick choose what I keep! So here goes
Is today the last day of reg. season play & will it just be a 1 vs 8 2 vs 7 type of format?

I can't totally answer your question, but Saturday is the last day for the regular season. I don't know how the playoff seedings will be conducted. However, what you indicated seems logical.

Balling, Are you from the area, You don't get out to the games much huh? Just asking 'cuz I see the same ? everytime.
Anyway, I don't think today's games counted for much because the records were pretty much settled by Thursday. I wasn't there today so I don't have any reviews to give you, but I'm sure Sunday will kick off the real bump! We'll see who's standing in the end!
Who would you all like to see in the championship? Of course I'd like to see HD & either BMac of LM Johnson, I know one of the three will be there...we shall see!!:)
But I won't be in the building tomorrow so please keep the board informed...

Carroll! WOW, the performance of the day goes to the young point/shooter, India (19 points), The 3 was on fire!

*** 6:30*p.m.****H.D. Woodson vs. Team Excel
The DC Cobras, Team Excel came to play ( they like to rough it up too) But Janeice Johnson was too much in the middle and Carleeda Green and Bernisha Pinkett hustled the 3 pointline for Jumpers and drives, Ronikka Ransford got in on the act too, twisting and turning in the lane for some strong finishes. The cobras got hustle from the bench and pulled out the win, with not many problems.

What about India and Shanel? Did Shanel get hurt?and oh yea...did n e one ever find out if they REALLY got disqualified? Or did Aggie work things out?


BAG, who is varsity? Did you get the site status mixed up with my name?
If u were askin me, I don't know what you want me to explain...I asked where was Shanel because I either haven't seen her or heard she wasn't there w/ GC. Don't know if she's hurt, I was askin...nothing about the two of them except I know they both play for the Stars so if India was there & Shanel wasn't I figured it wasn't a FFS engagement that didn't allow Shanel to play, unless it was practice or something and Shanel's game time was a conflict. I don't have a clue if they are in or out of Nat'ls..:cool:

Sunday's action was the expected. Select dominated Potomac from the beginning and cruised the second half. Wolf told the whole story of the game "full court pressure". What wasn't stolen by Select was thrown out of bounds by Potomac.

In the second game Flowers just didn't have enough offense on the court to keep us with the young guns. I believe the post players from Flowers were in Hershey Park. There was quite a bit of "return to sender" by Vails and the usual from the rest of your LM suspects. The more I see that team play the more impressed I am with Jassmine. Not Miss Johnson, the other Jassmine that played middle school ball at Ogle and is now at Bowie. She shoots the 3 ball extremely well, rebounds well, makes strong moves in the lane, handles the ball fairly well and can pass. She is the one growing the most on that team to me.

What had the billing to be the best game of the day turned out to be a one on one battle between dribble drives to the basket by Good Counsel's Sarian Snyder and the wet tre balls of Carroll's India Bradford. Give up 3 and score 2 ----- you lose!

In the final game all I can say is "JJ". Total domination on both ends of the court. Kept Team Excel's big girls confused and off balance all night. You front me I ask for the lob. Yeah I use to struggle with traveling when I first started but now I can drop step, shoot you a little bit of my chicken wing and make layups all day. Keep on doin' whatcha doin' Miss JJ because you're turning into a heck of a ball player.

If Carroll can get two of it's starter back tonight from their trip to Hershey Park we may be in store for two barn burners tonight. BMac didn't beat the LM 14's convincingly the first time and they'll be without rising senior's Ebony Edwards and Tiana Myers.

Lady Magic( i like to call them the 14s) Beat B-mac, Let me be the first to say Congrats!! B-Mac ( to me ) are tough opponents, especially in their house. Those girls have nothing to be upset about, they rolled off 10 straight wins in this tourny.

The 14s, Its a plesure to see such a dominate young team.


The Carroll VS DC Cobras match up was good too. The Cobras experience and hustle was too much as well as Big JJ. Jigga showed some moves in the paint and the cobras played Hot D. Bernisha Pinkett put locks on most of the backcourt play for Carroll,Ronika got some easy buckets and made a few hard ones too.The bench brought toughness and Cobras meet the 14s for the Chip.WOW, i still can't get over them beating B-Mac!

what ADULT is going to be dismayed about that? I heard it was a great game, congrats to all the girls for doing their thing. Hopefully, they can take the positive flow into the evaluation events this month.
