MT. JULIET TN (21-5,8-3) handed WILSON CENTRAL (22-4,10-1) it's first loss in district play last night 51-40 in AAA District 9. The GOLDEN BEARS finally did what fellow didtrict member LAVERGNE couldn't do twice in the last two weeks, beat CENTRAL. The WILDCATS held on to win by 6 and 7 in those two but couldn't overcome their perennial rivals last night. CAYA WILLIAMS led the way for JULIET with 20 while JASMINE HASSELL(GEORGIA) had led the WILDCATS with 12.

REGIS (17-4,8-1) knocked off fellow CONTINENTAL division rival THUNDER RIIDGE (18-2,8-1) 52-38 last night to remain a game behind HIGHLANDS RANCH in the division. MARY BOKENKAMP led the RAIDERS with 17 and CARLIE NEEDLES led the GRIZZLIES with 17. The GRIZZLIES head to HIGHLANDS RANCH Friday and with a win could create a three-way tie in one of the more competitive leagues in the country.

JULIA ZIMMERMAN (FRANKLIN TN) now has 114 three-pointers on the season and is approaching the VOLUNTEER state record of 122.
