Lunch-bucket team looked good. Balanced attack. No disrespect to Swami.

This season's edition of the Roosevelt Roughriders is looking pretty good.
nine player rotation - three goood Freshman on the varsity and seniors with a lot of leadership qualities. Gregg Kalina is getting the most out of his team and their defense is fast and furious. Look for more of them as the season progresses.

Anyone have a top couple KingCo games for the Riders this season? I should probably sneak a peek at my alma mater before the playoffs roll around ... :D

Lots of evenly matched teams in KingCo this year,so there are many options. Eastlake and Redmond were competitive last year and returned lots of players. Garfield has lots of talent. And it will be interesting to see Issaquah since they have not played before. Looking forward to seeing the Skyline game too.

Issaquah looked good against Lakeside in the 2nd half of the Les Schwab Hoops Challenge tournament at BCC a couple weeks ago. Great ball handling by Lakeside and Issaquah pg's and a lot of three's. Great game and it is on Channel 1 Comcast on demand under "Get local", "Local sports", "Varsity Sports", "Boys Basketball" then "Metro"(because it was a boys tourny with one girls game).
