I see Stanford lost another coach Karen Middleton to Illinois.

This has to mess up recruiting. I'm not as confident now about Stanford landing the girl from Texas unless Tara is doing the recruiting herself.

And only 3 can be on the road. Maybe this helps recruiting. While disconcerting to this Stanford fan, I couldn't tell you if it helps or hurts. Certainly sad to see friends leave, OTOH, both got promotions.

fortunately, since amy coaches the posts (i believe), her continuing presence may provide continuity and some reassurance to the post recruits.

if misery loves company, duke's recruiting should be as difficult or more - two new assistants and a brand new head coach who's away with the women's national under-21 team.
