I was looking at the Illinois roster, any idea why they only have 9 players on it?

They've been short on players for a couple years. Finished last season with 8 players, and only had 10 two years ago. This offseason two players transferred, one decided not to return because of chronic injuries, and one recruit didn't qualify.

Law is bringing in a great class, but it's extremely frontcourt-heavy, especially considering that Jenna Smith will be back next year.

Ok, thanks for the update. You are right, they are bringing in a great 2009 class.
