Great cant wait. Hoping to see some NY teams in the 50.
I guess Bergtraum made the top 10.
St. Mikes should be in the top 50 they have a number of top players just never can win the big one
Christ the King has a lot of size. Missing the great guards which allow you to win in new York.
Saint John the Baptist not as many star but wins big games. This team is a candidate for the top 50
Is this the first year you are doing 50 teams? I thought it was 20 last year.

Sorry for the misleading post. Some circumstances beyond our control have caused today's story to be delayed until Wednesday.
Saints, last year, we ran Full Court Press rankings. This year, we are doing rankings for ESPN, but they'll be branded as ESPN RISE Fab 50. Anyway, top 50 nationally, plus top 20 in five different regions.
Of the schools you mentioned, St. Mike's is the top (we cannot assume they will never win the big one), followed by CTK (Bria Smith is a pretty darned good guard to support the size) and Bergtraum (still good, but lost a lot to graduation). This is just preseason. We'll see how things sort out when everyone starts playing!

St. Mikes is a surprise but for preseason they are as good a pick as any.
I see Bria Smith as a high school small forward. I not sure how well she would do against New York guard pressure.
Bergtraum has plenty left. The team has Doris, Washington, Shanae Williams, Dixon. I don't know about around the country but in New York I see this team beating St. Mike & Christ the King. What Bergtraum has is experience.
You did not mention St. John the Baptist. After the Metro Classic I think its fair to say we should not overlook Long Island. St. John The Baptist has played in the championships in Glen Falls two years in a row. St. Mikes has never seen Glen Falls.

SJTB is in the regional rankings, although they did not make it into the national 50. They're definitely in the mix though and could easily move into it once the season starts.
