Well gang you heard it first here, the unofficial commit of TRP, or should I say TeRP. You see its all in the letters she probably doesn't even realize it yet but "TeRP" is short for "Terrapin" as in Maryland Terrapin. The team is affectionatley called the "Terps". Also if you unscramble the letters in Tierra Ruffin-Pratt you spell...yep you guessed it "Terrapin". Plus I have heard rumors that her first words may have been "turtle" So bottom line she has unofficially commited to the University of Maryland without even lifting a finger. Well kinda.:rolleyes:

However I hear she may have a cousin named Virginia Ruffin-Tech ;)

She'll be a junior this year. If she has, in fact, committed, the Best to her; otherwise, PLEASE, let's give her some space. Allow this sixteen-year-old a little T R-P time.

If you search the story archives you'll find a story I wrote about TRP a month or so ago. She's not even started listening to the sales pitches yet. She is going to wait until she can talk to the coaches directly and get a feel for them instead of settling for what is handed down through coaches.
