That was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

It will go a long way towards attracting some eyes towards the girls from the surrounding areas of NYC. i.e. Long Island, Westchester, and Rockland counties.

I know there's one in Westchester that is in the same "mold-to-be" as Prahalis, coming soon to the local scene, and articles like this only help jump start the attention she will ultimately deserve.

Can't wait to watch Prahalis in college.

What is the name of the girl in Westchester? Is she too young to mention her name ? What team and age group ?

5' - 4" Point Guard..........Plays for Future Stars 13U's and 16U's (sometimes) as a 7th grader.

She will be at their home tournament this weekend (most games at Pace U & Ursuline HS).

Solid rumor she will be with Exodus next season.

She must be some player if she is in the 7th grade and able to play 16Us. What high school do you think she will go to?

Sounds like you are skeptical, that's ok!...............Well I can tell you she is a player.......a feel for the game like no kid I've seen, and skills to go with it.

Don't know what H.S. she is only a 7th grader. All I know is....stay tuned.

I did not say I was skeptical. I'm sure she can play. I guess in the 7th grade Shannon could have played 16U. You don't see many girls like Shannon though.

Is there a school in the area that the good girls normally go to? Or is the talent scattered amongst all schools in Westchester?

Shannon Bobbit plays for Tenn. Tenn won a National Championship in 2007 with Shannon playing the point. Shannon is a legend in NYC. I assume the 7th grader is similiar to Shannon if she is only 5'4" and can play at a 16U level.

I've seen alot of 7th graders play up in NYC or at least in high school tournaments, like Slam Jam. Shannon was able to play up because her ballhandling skills are like no other.

Well I can only assume the Dark Lord is a pen name for Apache. That is not surprising because you mentioned previously she would be playing for Exodus. Exodus enters a lot of tournaments so that should be an experience for her.

What tournament was at Pace ?

Well if the hint is Queens I would have to guess Bob Mackey of Christ the King.

Crossover, let the girl make her mark first before blowing her up. Yes, she's a nice player, but she's not ready for that level of play.

She will have an opportunity like many other players though.

I have the priviledge of watching her play. She has enought talent to play up at least 1-year. 16's would be too much for her.

Glenn, great article on Prahalis. I have the priviledge of watching her workout with Jerry Powell. Hard worker and a load of talent.

I think Sammie should choose a mid-major program like Temple. She would play right away, she would be under the teaching of the best point guard in the womens game, she would be allowed to play her style of basketball and she would take less of a beating. Say No to Ohio St and Rutgers!!!
