This is very strange. How did that much toxin get stored in her body. Six times the lethal amount? How much sports cream does it take to put six times the legal limit of that toxin in your body, mind you your body will dispose of some of it.

That is horrible! It does make wonder why her body was not breaking down and getting rid of the toxins!?

these days, lots of medications are delivered as skin patches; anti-seasickness meds for example.

she was taking methyl salicylate, a close relative of aspirin (acetyl salicylic acid). aspirin has always been one of the most common vehicles of accidental drug overdose.

extra strength ben gay contains 30% salicylate, about 50 mg per tablespoon. 10 tablespoons would be equal to an adult dose of aspirin. i think one could easily lather on 10 tablespoons.

every time i see my wife and daughter cover themselves with lotion, i wonder what's in it? all the active ingredients, and most of the dyes, fragrance ingredients, go right into your body.

if you take a medicine every day, you can easily accumulate it faster than you can excrete it. she should have had a whopping case of ringing in her ears first. too bad no one noticed that.
