Carly Dawn Stowell

On the day of 4/12 2007

A very sweet girl was sent up to heaven

We had just gotten home when we got the call

The girl who had died was Carly Stowell

My sister came into the room

Tears rolling down her cheeks

She told me the news

I was unable to speak

She was in North Carolina playing hard and fast

But it was back in her hotel room when she suddenly collapsed

Unable to catch her breath God took her away

No one will ever forget that day

She was an amazing girl on her way to fame

She had unreal skills and her game was insane

Not only a leader in life but a leader on the court

It’s so unfair that her life was cut short

Some say God needed her

But we did too

Why did he have to take her quite so soon

Let us remember her smile that took away breath

Let us remember her skills that scared girls to death

The way a room would brighten when she would walk through the door

The was she succeeded at everything in life and more

No one will ever stop wishing to see her again

No one will ever stop wishing that this wasn’t the end

She lived her life the best she could

If there was anything we could do to bring her back we would
