Doughty on your evaluations. You seem to really like her offensive fundamentals and smarts. You question her defensive "potential". Is it because of lack of quickness or because of maybe poor fundamentals on that end of the floor?? I'm a fan in Albuquerque and Tina was at the New Mexico Lobo camp-sounds like there might be a fair amount of mutual interest. This is why i'm asking about her. Thanx for coverage. Also, do you maybe know what players are seriously looking at UNM?? Haven't seen the school mentioned on lists on here much.

I think the thing that struck me in the two seperate games that I saw in Murfreesboro was that defense really wasn't a focus. Of course, for the most part, that would make her very normal by most high school and club standards. As a coach sitting on the sidelines the last 24 summers, I usually have looked for kids that put in the same effort at both ends of the floor even if the defensive fundamentals were not there. In my eyes, fading as they are, I feel she has the tools to be a better defender than she showed last week. Still wouldn't keep me from knocking on her door as a recruiter!!
