Althhough I did not know Carly, I know her mother very well, and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for her family.
I know the caliber of person Elena is and wanted to express my respect and appreciation of what Elena has contributed to science educators by representing the National Science Teachers Association and the FDA in the delivery of professional development to teachers across the country.
From reading these posts, I can see that Elena faithfully nurtured in her daughter the same passion, enthusiam and committment I have seen exhibited from her mother.
My throughts and prayers are with the Stowell family through this tragic time.
