did Elena D leave UCONN

Yes, But it sounds like too personal a situation to discuss on a message board. Lets hope all is resolved by the Fall.

I read that an AAU coach said that a teammate told EDD to hustle up. Maybe the spot light shines too brightly on her. Unfortunately it isn't for everyone. Hope she takes care of herself first and isn't pressured into anything she isn't ready for.

ProudParent, This is a private matter that EDD needs to resolve before she returns to UCONN. Her leaving has nothing to do with Geno or her teammates. Hopefully this young lady will correct the issues that led her to leave UCONN, and return before the fall semester.

but what does too personal to be onmessage board mean? We discuss all types of issues on this board and now its too personal? well someones rehab schedule may be too personal but we discuss it? Someones personal issue with their coach is discussed? I am just venting because we seem to arbitrarily determine what can and what can not be discussed and the reasoning is sometimes flawed.....If its the media darling then we shy away from it but if it was someone else like EP we would have it all over the board....

all the other cliches that you can think of. Guru, I feel ya!!!

I have a daughter the same age as EDD although she's already good & into college. I don't know where I stand on this, but I can clearly see where the UCONN faithful stand. As public as EDD has been, or the media has made her, this is terribly confusing & to me seems to leave room for the Rumor Mills blades to turn...
JMO:cool:

No need to chop my head off, because to be honest, this topic isn't that serious to me at all...it is moreso the way it's being handled.

I think the difference was with EP we knew what was going on. EP scored 113 points so some people were for other against. Thats an issue to discuss. It was something that was done on the court.

With EDD we are only speculating on what happened. I have no idea why she left school so what am I going to discuss.
