Top Freshmen At Rose Classic

Wow! Four of the top freshmen in the country on one team yesterday at the Rose Classic championship playing for Apache's Exodus NYC team.

5'9" g/f Bria Smith - Christ the King H.S.
5'9" g/f Brianna Sidney - St. Michaels
5'11" g/f Bra Shay Ali - St. Michaels
6'2" f/c Tiffany Jones - St. Michaels

I predict that all four of these players will be in the top 30 nationally by the time they are seniors. A couple of them will be McDonalds All Americans.

I know Sillk and Anton were very pleased to see yet another Christ the King player playing at the Rose.

It's all about the love of the game.

Quiet as it is kept....Apache also has a youngster who is still growing in more ways than one and has an undeniable blood line. She is related to the Hall of Famer William "Bill" Felton Russell himself. But, soon it wont be the last name or her height that gets her mentioned.

Just wait and see. The training and the saga continues......

New Young Guns:

Aleayah, Bianca and Casey. These three little girls will be house hold names in NYC basketball circles in the not so distant future and, just remember I said it first....They will be the best guards in this city and it wil be as simple as A, B and C.
