While flipping 400 channels which consisted of Law and Order, Mythbuster, Dirty Jobs and other marathons I have seen at least 5 times I found a WNBA game. I hadn't seen the former A&M ladies, Mo Artunase and Aqua Franklin, playing for their pro teams so when I saw Mo on the court for San Antonio, I had to watch. She looked like vintage Mo and I believe she has a bright future ahead of her. While viewing the telecast, an interesting subject came up during one of the breaks, Becky Hammon, an American, will be playing for Russia in the Olympics. This would have been the kiss of death 20 or even 10 years ago and I hear her reasoning, unsure about making the USA Team along with making big bucks from Russian team when WNBA season is over however on the other hand I still remember '72 Olympics when we were robbed along with all the other stuff I won't go into. Becky seems like a great person that loves her country and this was more of a business decision so it shall be interesting to see how this plays out.

Im not mad at her. The Olympics is a chance of a lifetime and everyone would want rep their country however if the opportunity isn't possible here why not go someplace else. Congratz to Becky on reaching another goal in her career. For the record she should be on the American roster Im not sure in place of whom but shes definately good enuff to make the team. Moreover she along with Tweet Nolan should be shoe in's. In my book this makes her no less patriotic besides athletes have been doing this for years. Many athletes go and participate on teams in coutries where their mom or dad's parents were born. Hell even coaches have jumped countries to for opportunities Don Nelson son is the head coach for the Serbia team.
