My family and I were truly blessed to be one of the lucky people who had the opportunity to know Carly. Our prayers and thoughts are with her family and the Emerald City Team.

The twins will miss you and are sad that they won't be able to comb your hair at tournaments. Also,”P" was so proud to wear your uniform because she thought you were the best player ever and believed it had "special powers".

We wish we were there to support the girls and give everyone lots of hugs and support. Just know that we are thinking of you and can’t wait until you get home.

We love you Carly!

Our family is also touched by this tragedy. Carly was truly a bright star on the ECBA team and the Kentlake Team. The whole ECBA Legends family will surely miss her.

We enjoyed watching her play and my daughter enjoyed playing with her at practices at Emerald City.

We also send our prayers and support to her family and the girls on the ECBA Legends High School team.

Carly YOU will be MISSED!!!

I will miss Carly. She was always me shooting partner in the clinics we take on tuesdays. I always looked up to Carly. I was the kid that said, "I want to be like her." Carly is a great basketball player and I am sad that we have to see her go.

I will always remember that one game that I saw her play in. She was what got the team going. She was my role model in who I wanted to play like. I still remember the picture that she showed me of all of her shoes that were nicely displayed at her house. That made me laugh.

I wish I could be there and cheer on the Emerald City team so that they can win it for Carly. We are all thinking of you Carly, always!

We love you Carly!

I didn't know her directly but i knew her mom and this is such a horrible thing to have happened. I'm so sorry to hear about this loss not only for the family but for the team.

And even though I never got to meet her she'll always be in my family's hearts, since my brother and I both somehow indirectly know her.

Much love
Natalia

We all will miss carly. She meant sooooooo much to Emerald City, and i dont know one person that doesn't know Carly. Something that i will miss the most is her funny faces that she made when she did her cool gaurd moves before practices on monday night. Carly was so nice, she made me feel like one of the "older" kids by just giving a simple smile, and saying "hi Maria!" Carly was more than just someone i knew, she was a role model to all the girls on Mo's 7th grade team. I heard many stories about Carly, especially when Mo would always talk about how Carly had "a good chance of going to the WNBA" and she had "real talent." I will always remember Carly and how she inspired us seventh graders!!
We love you Carly!

Everyone at emerald city will miss Carly so much. I think that everyone can agree that she was not only a great player, but she was also a great team player and know that it will be especially hard for Morganne, losing her best friend. It was just such a shock and she means so much to us. It will be hard without her. It is such a surprise how just a few days ago at the last tournament i saw her playing and telling everyone how good they were doing. She was also so nice to the younger kids (like me) and we all appreciate her good sportsmanship. Please pass her story on. She will be in all of our thoughts.

I will miss carly very much. I am sad to see such a nice athletic person go. i will miss seeing her at the gym. She was the nicest person to me. We all will the smiles she brought in every room; and how she never gave up. I will remember if she didn't get a move down in training she would practice it tell she got it down. I will always remember Carly and how gifted she was.

I have only met Carly a handful of times over her short life, but each time was pleasure for me. I still remember her at my wedding at the age of 5 helping a friend of mine pop a champange cork and laughing as it sailed 3 houses over.

To E, Chuck & the boys, I am so sorry for your loss. Know that my prayers and love are with you at this difficult time.

Love you E!

Your friend
