Lot's of times people get confused on certain things. You have two groups, basketball players and those who play basketball. Many who play basketball only do it for fun, exercise or for the social experience of just hanging out.

A BASKETBALL PLAYER is something entirely different. These are the ones that know what they need to work on and do it. These are the ones that take time to think the game and not get flustered when they make mistakes. In order to be a BASKETBALL PLAYER you have to put in the work.

We have kids that have come through the program and year after year, you see they have worked on their liabilities because they wanted to get better, that's what it's all about. Parents, remember July is a little bit over a month away, so try and make your kids understand they are to use these exposure events as if they were interviewing for a job because colleges are looking for BASKETBALL PLAYERS

You know what I am talking about, this stuff isn't easy and you got to put in the work and it's more than being able to hit 3s with your eyes closed, being ultra athletic or handling the ball the way I used to:D

I want the kids to be ready and no what it takes. How many 10,11 and 12 year old superstars have you seen fade away because they thought they arrived? I have even seen 8th and 9th graders can't miss players miss completely. This came from nowhere, it's only my post Mothers Day rant.
