I was at the B-Mac yesterday for a game or so, i saw Team select and i saw the good counsel game. The girl that plays for them looks like she will be making a statement in this tourny. Harrison # 33 right? she looked impressive. I also stayed for the DC cobras game, they looked good to. Teammom, Carleeda Green had a youtube moment in that game (might be one of the better yanks i seen on the girls scene). Props to Carleeda, Which Boo team has Pratt and Kizer ?

Boo Williams Boo is the Elite team coached by Boo, with TRP, Kizer, Suga,Stewart and more. The Boo Williams program carry a lot of teams of different talent levels and many are named Boo Williams but not all, the name at the end tells you who the coach is. Hope that ansers you.

Thanks AC, i figured the names were the coaches i just did'nt know which one they was on, so there is a BWSL Williams ( the Sister ) and BWSL BOO (Boo ), just to make sure im reading you right, Does anybody have any updates from the games?

Im not sure of the family of coaches, I know Boo has a sister that coaches Georgetown, all of the Boo Williams teams are not called Boo Willams though, there are and have been names such as Red Tide, Black Widows, Miracles, Express and others. Only saw two games L word Majic 14 lost in OT to Boo Williams 15(?), and FFStars Elite Lost to Boo Williams Elite by 6 in a tight game ending close to midnight.

Oh my! That was truly a "sick" crossover and then to finish with a behind the back pass for a layup makes the move all the more impressive. That's one of those moves that would have sent everyone rushing onto the court down at the urban coalition when it was held at Dunbar!

Jigga would be none other than JJ...Janise Johnson...J squared, Big JJ, the Juggernaut!
I have a feeling all of her names will be known soon!!:)

the complete breakdowns that all of you sport's fans had to offer after a big event? It seems that all of that went out with the old boards & it sucks! After waiting to see the area's finest for two whole weeks, I was unable to get out and I feel like I will never know what really went down :(

Carleeda LIVES for those moments...we call it 1 TIME! :)

IH, Can we get some feedback on the DC Cobras/HDW, Patrice Johnson, Bernisha Pinkett and Carleeda Green. Where they rank among their class in the area, and what you think their college position will be. PS your evalution is asked for, so im not gonna hate on your opinion.

The other team was outgunned from the start and will be in all of these summer league games, many of the girls on that team have just started playing ball so the move although a great one was no surprise. They hung in there in the first half being down by about 6 at the half. HD came out the second half pressing hard and the game was pretty much over midway through. HD's coach showed class pulling out of the press when he had the game at hand. We pretty muched stayed in a 2-3 then switched to a 3-2 to guard the shooters, I had to teach them how to play zone on the fly. On that particular "snatch play" HD appeared to go into a stall and let the game end with about 3 1/2 min remaining. In the time out the girls said they wanted to go all out for the last 4 minutes. I told the girl to go out on her just to start the 5sec count and then back off. I'm yelling back off on the tape because I see whats coming. After that play we switched defenders and went man to elicit a little back and forth one on one's between her and our top girl but the coach subbed her. The next possesion Ransford was matched up against another player which could have also gotten ugly but she pass it up twice I guess it was a show of mercy since they were up 30. We got some one on one's on the other end with our top girl which led to scores, ft's and one flagrant foul on Ransford which wasn't malicious. Other than that it was a good experience. We expect an even tougher road tonite against McNamara. All in all the girls had fun even in the loss and we are looking to be tougher in the fall when the othe four starters return from their AAU and family commitments.

Coach Oliver is a class act & I am happy to see even the opposition takes notice!

Tink, Thanks for the breakdown! I really wish I could have been out this weekend. Keep your girls at it! HD/Cobras have been on the receiving end of these types of outcomes and it has only made them better individually & as a team...

I'd rather not say publicly that would be message board suicide, some of the people here are very mean and once they know who you are they start saying cruel things about your daughter. I would like to remain anonymous. :)

TinkB - I give your oldest daughter her props but the youngest one is the one that's not to be played with.

You must be thinking of someone else I don't have a 5'10" 9th grade daughter or a 5'11" 6th grade daughter. But thanks anyway.

My fault sir. No one mentioned height and grade but thanks for letting us know that someone on that team from Charles County that played HDW that night has a 5'10" rising sophomore and 5'11" rising 7th grader. It just so happens that I know of someone whose real name is very similiar to yours and does have a daughter that plays on that team. If you get a chance check the younger of the two out. She plays for Team Excel and she's going to be pretty good!
