I was talking with my friend Herb a few weeks ago about how folks promise kids and their parents the world if they play ball for their team. I can't do it, in fact I consider it a form of begging. I recall pleading my mother for some of these shoes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXRYEsTZe6c when I was 6 years old and she told me know. I had to get a job to buy these shoes, I simply needed them because they made you run faster and jump higher, well they didn't and the analogy fits in more ways than one.:)
