Just wondering if you guys saw any kids that were not previously ranked but
after this weekend perhaps you have now given them a star or two or three?

Any kids we might need to be made aware of that were previously flying under
the radar but this weekend you saw something that peaked your interest?

We always hear about the top ranked players which is great, but what about
some kids that might be within the 41-100 ranking?

We are going to release a new Top 60 for 2008 today (afternoon out west, evening out east). There are several new kids from our viewings in the spring and this past weekend.

In the coming weeks there will be a lot of new players added to the database that may not be elite top 20 kids but like you said, in the 2 star and 3 star range that are d-1 caliber. I will start a thread for listing the most recently added players as we get into it.

Sounds great, thanks.

Just a warning if you are searching the players or looking at the rankings while I'm updating them it may appear strange or that a couple kids are ranked in the same spot. It will take a little time to go through each player so hang in there this evening. I'll get it done as quickly as I can.

Chris, I think a couple of months ago it was reported that Kizer was going to announce but then put it off. Any update on when she is supposed to committ? I've watched her play since she was 12 and not only do I love her game but think she's one of the nicest kids around.

The Select team I coached 5 years ago beat her team in a tough, close game. Her teammates walked off ther court refusing to shake hands but Kizer brought them all back out and made them act with sportsmanship. I was so impressed that a 12 year old would do such a classy thing.

The coaching changes were a set back for her. We'll check with her at USA Youth Devo Festival in a little more than a week. I'm excited to see her go heads up with the best posts in a single setting.
