I was sad to see Hoopgurlz making the decision to not cover the WIAA tournament like it has in past years. Hoopgurlz articles are more indepth with more information than readers will get anywhere else.

I would think the highest percentage of your readers are in the NW, Are you planning on covering the 3A next week?

thanks

I'll be there for part of it. We're both back east and are trying to cover Oregon some as well.

You're right, it's a little regretful. We've won awards for our coverage of the 4A tournament. However, we now have to be responsible to a national audience, so our stories need to be as broad-based as possible. As many know, sports, like politics, is very local.

Our biggest market no longer is the Northwest, by the way. And, to be honest, the people we've heard from since our earliest days have not been the most positive about our site. And, mostly, a lot of the news that gets out about Northwest basketball still comes from us. That hasn't fallen off.

That all said, I've been at 4A every day; I'm just working on a special project that I think Washington state fans will enjoy.

started shooting the WSU Women's game and found this site while looking for information about Colleen Betteridge. She wasn't at the game on Friday nor was she listed. I'm glad this site is up for following women's basketball, I would really like to see Pullman support the team more. I've been trying to get credentialed for the games but so far I have to shoot from the stands.

This is my first post and may be a no-no but here is some of my work:
