What an unbelievable tragedy for such a bright future as a player and I can imagine as a person. Having played Carly and her Kentlake team at this past years 4A State Tournament we couldn't help but notice how young their program was and how influential Ms. Stowell was on the floor being as young as she was. We shared with their staff what a bright future lay ahead for their program and having Carly leading the way meant great things were in store!
As a young father of 2, soon to be 3 here in 6 days, I can't even imagine the heartache and pain her family, teammates, friends and coaches are going through at this juncture. It makes me appreciate even more the preciousness of my own kids and family and the great group of kids that I get to coach.
From myself, my family and our entire Lake Stevens HS Girls Basketball program we wish to extend our thoughts and our prayers to all that are associated with Ms. Stowell and her family during this very difficult time.
